Nestling high in the hills of Umbria only 15km south of the historic walled town of Citta di Castella and 30km north east of Cortona, Villa Calzolaro is one of our largest and most luxurious villas. Comprising a main villa in traditional Tuscan stone and brick on three floors (La Villa) as well as a separate annex behind (Il Dipendenza), this sumptuous villa is capable of sleeping a large party of up to 17 people.

La Villa has three entrances – one of which is an external stairway to the first floor. On the ground floor, you will find the kitchen, dining room, bathroom, large living room and internal stairs to the first floor. The first floor boasts another comfortable living room with a fireplace, another bathroom, a bedroom with bunk beds plus two more double bedrooms. The top (second) floor houses two double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms, a large living room and two bathrooms - one with a bath and one with a shower.

Il Dipendenza, is on two floors behind La villa. It is self-contained for extra privacy and sleeps five people in two double bedrooms and a single. You will also enjoy another comfortable living room with a fireplace a further kitchen and a bathroom.

But Villa Calzolaro offers even more! Apart from glorious gardens, a covered barbecue, large swimming pool and all the seclusion you could possibly want, you also have the services of a butler or a housekeeper during your stay. Which means you can settle back enjoying life and your good fortune at Villa Calzolaro without a care in the world.

The villages of Calzolaro and Trestina are nearby for groceries while the ‘Vecchio Granaio Pizzeria’ is only 1km from the villa.
