This picturesque and secluded big farm is situated amidst the beautiful hills and valleys of the Montecucco area of Tuscany surrounded by wheat fields, olive groves and the ubiquitous rows of cypress trees. When you stay at Poggio Narchini, you are only a few kilometres from the villages of Montenero and San Angelo Scalo where you can get your provisions, dine out or relax in a bar. What’s more, you are also only 17km from the famous wine town of Montalcino, so you can expect to enjoy some exceptional local wine. The Orcia River is just down the hill from the house so is ideal for a walk and a picnic.  ‘Poggio’ in Italian means hillock, so there is a magnificent view from practically everywhere on the property, which comprises three buildings sympathetically restored and refurbished in traditional Tuscan style to provide seven comfortable and peaceful apartments. Zancona is the most secluded and is in a building of its own at the back of the farm. The next biggest building, and the one nearest the refreshing 8x16m swimming pool, houses Fiora and Ombrone, while the largest building contains Gretano, Melacce, Orcia and Albegna. All these varied and tastefully-decorated apartments have their own garden and private entrances. Guests share the swimming pool, three barbecues and a pool/billiards table in the games room in a separate building.
