Il Cherzo is a traditional farmhouse villa set in the midst of the rolling hills and fields of central Tuscany. Perched on the top of a hill, the accommodation commands spectacular views on all sides and is a short distance (5km) to the shops, bars and restaurants of the small village of Cinigiano. This is great walking or touring country and you are confronted with the beauty of Tuscany at every turn. You can even borrow mountain bikes at the villa and there is a small playground for children for when you want to relax at ‘home’ with the family.

There are three apartments at Il Cherzo, Il Papavero (the largest), La Margherita (on left at front) and Il Girasole (on 2 floors at rear), which share the stunning swimming pool with breathtaking views in a fenced-off area below the villa.

With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, Il Papavero is the largest apartment at Il Cherzo. From the comfortable living room with its fireplace, sofa and dining table, you get to the kitchen and a corridor leading to two double bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with a king-sized bed), the twin bedroom and the bathroom. The other bathroom is en suite in the largest bedroom. At the rear of the living room, French doors open onto a glorious covered terrace that runs around two sides of the apartment. This is perfect for relaxing in the shade and dining al fresco while enjoying stunning views over the garden and the countryside beyond.
