From Casa Il Cristo, you are close to the delights of Grosseto and only 10km from the white sandy beaches of Principina a Mare and Marina di Grosseto where you can laze in the sun and enjoy the local bars, shops and restaurants. You are also only a few minutes from the highways that take you inland to the famous vineyards of Montecucco, Morellino and Chianti - or up the nearby E78 highway for a day trip to Siena, less than 70km (1hr) away. The breath-taking Monte Amiata region, with its forest-covered hills and fortified towns is another excursion not to be missed - while further afield, the historic delights of San Gimignano and Florence are not too far away for an enjoyable day out.

However, once you settle in to the 'Casa' itself, you won't want to leave! You will enjoy relaxing on one of the many sun-loungers, sitting by the sparkling 6x12 metre swimming pool, cooling off in the shade of the covered veranda, picnicking under one of the ancient olive trees - or simply swinging idly on the comfortable hammock chair reading your favourite paperback.
