Annibale is a charming old converted farm building in the heart of the beautiful Umbrian countryside with stunning views of Lake Trasimeno. The property is in the small village of Sanguineto, the historic site of a fierce battle where the Carthaginians led by Hannibal defeated the Roman army in 217 BC. These days, Sanguineto leads a more peaceful life and you are only a few kilometres from the shops, restaurants and bars of nearby Tuoro sul Trasimeno. You are only 45km from the attractions of historic Arrezo in the north and about the same to Perugia in the south.

Annibale is on a slope within a beautiful landscaped garden of olive trees and colourful  Mediterranean flowers. You have a choice of six delightful apartments (Mono, Bilo, Bilo1, Bilo2, Trilo3 and Trilo4) in one building plus this one, a secluded old tower called La Torre at the bottom of the garden. All of the accommodation is refitted and decorated in traditional Umbrian style using stone and brick with wood-beamed ceilings throughout. Furthermore, each of the six apartments has its own private lawn frontage separated by shrub hedges where you can relax in peace enjoying the stunning views over the sparkling swimming pool and the lake beyond.
