You reach Villa Ilex by a twisting cliff-top road from Porto Santo Stefano, a bustling marina and quayside resort just 7km away. For exclusivity, seclusion and peace and quiet, Villa Ilex can’t be beaten. The secluded bay of Cala del Gesso is a 600 metre walk down a narrow footpath that only six other local houses (and perhaps a few intrepid outsiders) use.
