Umbria is another beautiful rural region south-east of Tuscany that is typified by rolling forested hills, fields of barley and wheat and groves of olives. The capital is Perugia and the region abounds with historic medieval towns and cities such as Narni, Orvieto, Nocera Umbra, Norcia, Assisi, Trevi and Montefalco. At the moment, we have a beautiful villa in the Umbrian countryside near to the quaint old town of Vigne di Narni that offers the same unique holiday experience as our Tuscany accommodation. The advantage of enjoying your villa holiday in this serene region is that you are much closer to Rome (only 75km away) for a cultural excursion to the Roman capital.
